Today East competed in the Camden County Championships at Hadden Twp. high school. The distance team alone scored 38 points of the total of 49 which placed East 4th in Division 2. Up first was Nate Burt and Dave Berger in the 1600. After a slow start Nate Burt made a very stong move with 600 meters to go which broke apart the strong feild and took 2nd with a Pr time of 4:28.1. Dave Berger held on to win with a time of 4:27.00. Third place in the 1600 was 8 seconds back of Dave and Nate. Back again Nate Burt and Craig Fishbein place 4th and 5th in the 800. Nate ran another PR of 2:03 and Craig ran a season best 2:05. Lastly Dave Berger and John Arnold took on the 3200 field and finshed 1st and 4th. The four distance guys who competed out scored all the schools in the Distance events.
This week there is a meet everyday, of course not everyone will compete everyday, but there will be plenty of opportunity to compete. Also if you are not competeing Monday, which is now most of you, there is going to still be practie on Monday.
