A Long Run and A Short Run

As we draw closer and closer to the racing season, our training will become more and more intense, especially in these next few weeks before school starts. To kick things off right after camp, Mike Levin, Dave Berger, Dan Fuentes, Jason Klein, Jeff Deppa, and Colin Kosinski ran 12 miles into the Eastern Trails. Other groups also went in that direction, but for shorter distances.

On Tuesday, we took to the ever-popular Barnes and Noble loop for a good ol' 7.5 mile run (not 7 like the moose would have you believe, here is the map to prove it. Mike completed the run in 48 minutes, which gives him a brisk mile pace of 6:35. Danny, Pete, and Brandon followed in about 50 minutes, which is 6:40 mile pace.
