Woo Shore Coaches 2011!

What a great meet. Always fun. Many great performances were seen on Saturday. We'll start off with the freshman.

Dan Helfand had a solid race, running 12:41 for the 2 mile course. He was the only East Distance runner to get a medal. Just outside the medals was Christian Mele, who ran 12:48. In 211th place was Zach Goldstein, who also had a nice race. Congratulations boys.

Next up was the Varsity race. Mike Wang lead the team with an 18:01, placing 54th. Next for the team were Mike Bruce and Russell Beatty, who ran 18:09 and 18:12 respectively. Tyler Russ ran a tough race, and came in at 18:13. Mike Minion rounded out the scoring, with an impressive 19:01

The JV race yielded some nice performance as well. Jack Fiedler continued his streak of good races and finished in 19:24. Sean Taylor ran 19:31, claiming 125th place. John Warkala broke 20 on Holmdel for the first time, and finished in 158th.

Well our boys at GCC are on their way home now. I can't wait for that post. Come ready to work tomorrow boys.
