NJ Group State Relays

On a frigid cold day East made its way to Toms River yet again to compete in the Group 4 state Relay meet. To kick off the night John Arnold, Craig Fishbein, and Nate Burt placed 7th in there heat of the DMR with a time of 11:12.23. Nate Burt had a great anchor leg splitting 4:37. Nate wasnt done for the night, later he came back in the Sprint Medely and anchored that team home in 2:08(800). Craig also ran the 400 leg of the Sprint Medely that placed 4th in their heat and ran a time of 3:54.2. Also in the very young 4x800 team of Scott Zhao, Damon Glatz, Sean Lowen, and Steve Omari competed well with Sean running a great leg of 2:13.

The next meet is the Frosh/Novice meet up at The Armory next Monday the 26th and sectionals is just around the conrner.
