Manhattan Invitational/Lenape Dual Meet

On Saturday, the Varsity team not only took a long trip up to Van Cortlanlt Park in New York, but also took home several medals and a pretty fly set of matching t-shirts. The team had a good showing in the B race and came home with 5 medals and 5th place team finish out of all the teams, which consisted of a huge field of runners. Dave Berger took 6th place in a time of 13:15 on the 2.5 mile course. Also Nate Burt took 22nd, John Arnold 42nd, Scott Zhao ('11) 60th, and Chris Dinh ('10) 67th in a race of over 200.

At GCC, the boys cross country team raced Lenape on the A course in the unusually hot fall weather. However, the team overcame this difficulty and managed to defeat Lenape 22-35. Notable performances include Dave Berger's ('09) first place finish, Nate Burt's ('09) third place finish, John Arnold's ('09) fifth place finish, and Craig Fishbein's ('09) sixth place finish. Overall, it was a great day for the seniors. Also, Adam Rosenthal ('12) had a great race finishing sub-18:20's and Dan "DJ" Rodriguez ('12) ran 19:14, a 31-second PR.
