Today, the Cherry Hill East Cross Country team was at the Monmouth Battlefield for the Battle of Monmouth Class Meet.
In the first meet, the freshman claimed 3 medals. Adam Rosenthal ('12) was in 18th, Dan "DJ" Rodriguez ('12) 22nd, and Zach Ianarelli ('12) in 24th. One of the more impressive races was the Sophmore race. The sophmores took home 6 medals. Scott Zhao ('11) finished in 4th place, Tony Chen ('11) 15th place, Damon Glatz ('11) 18th, Andrew Berger ('11) came in 19th, Tyler Caton ('11) placed 21st, and lastly Dan Derochers came in 24th place. In the Junior race, Mike Liachowitz ('10) and Chris Dinh ('10) got medals, with Chris claiming 9th place and Mike in 22nd. The Seniors placed 3rd team overall and came away with 3 medals. Dave Berger ('09) placed 2nd, John Arnold ('09) 9th, and Craig Fishbein ('09) in 19th.9th.
Congratulations to all who medaled today. Our next meet is on Wednesday at GCC against Eastern Hs. As always, Keep Running.
