Yesterday was a great day for the East Distance team. A few members of the track team traveled to Pennsauken High School to participate in the annual Camden-Glouster County Relays. For each event, the top 6 teams recieved medals. Even against the brutal winds and cold chills of the infamous "wind bowl", the teams perservered and had some impressive results. Starting off in the 4x1600m relay, the squad consisting of Chris Dinh, John Arnold, Andrew Berger, and Dan Fuentes, finished 6th overall. Dinh had the fastest split of the team, with a time of 4:55. In the Distance Medley Relay (DMR), the team of David Berger, Joe Epps, Max Cohler, and Nate Burt, finished in a tough 2nd place. The other team of Kevin Lanni, Tim Dinh, and Colin Kosinski finished 1st in the junior varsity race. Finally, in the 4x800m relay, the DMR team returned and finished 1st for their division, with Berger running the fastest split in 2:03. Overall, the East track team finished 2nd in the entire division 2 at the meet. Congrats to everyone on some exciting races. Keep it up!
