Walk MS 2008

Spring is close at hand, which means that the annual Walk MS is approaching. Every year, The Grateful Runners take time out of their weekend to participate in this charitable event. Everyone who plans on participating should bring a donation, which benefits the National MS Society. The event consists of a 5-mile walk/run through Voorhees. After the Walk, there are always food and fun activities.

Date: Sunday May 4th, 2008
Time: 9:00am-11:00am
Location: Eastern Regional High School,
City: Voorhees, NJ,
Street: 1401 Laurel Oak Road

Additional Information:
Join The Grateful Runners and many others on a fully catered, 5-mile stroll through scenic Voorhees, NJ. While walking/running, you have access to 2 rest stops and when your walk/run is completed, you can enjoy a lunch filled with delicious food & fun entertainment!
More than just a fundraising event, though, the Walk is a celebration for an entire community. The donations that pour in fund countless programs and services and research, but the event itself creates a hope-filled and fun atmosphere for everyone affected by MS while generating a greater awareness of multiple sclerosis in the public at large. Families are drawn closer together, co-workers are united for a greater good, and people gain a better understanding of what MS is and how close we are coming to eradicating it.
You’ll move. You’ll be moved. Joining the movement with hundreds of thousands of people across the country is an experience like no other. We walk together during Walk MS to make a powerful statement and to keep us moving toward a cure. Join a team, raise funds and walk to help people affected by MS.
