Looking Back: A Year Ago Today

I just thought it would be interesting to take a look and see how the team has progressed over the year. Here is a post about the indoor state meet from a year ago today:

Today, 7 members of the boy's distance team participated in the 7oth annual Indoor Track State Group Championships at Tom's River. In the 1600m race, Pete Tzeng finished in 4:54, in addition to Dave Berger finishing another heat in 4:52. In the 800m, Craig Fishbein ran an impressive PR of 2:10, with Joel Burt following in 2:12. Nate Burt also participated in the meet by running the 400m race in a time of 59 seconds. Finally, the 3200m race consisted of Dan Fuentes running 10:39, and Max Cohler running 10:52.

Its always great looking back because we have seen some huge improvements from everyone who has stayed with the program. Berger has run in the 4:30's, as well as Max and John Arnold running in the 4:40's. Tim Dinh has run under 5 minutes, in addition to Colin, Craig, and many more. Dan has also run 10:09 in the 3200. Overall, many returning members of East Distance have made great strides in this sport (no pun intended). Lets keep raising the bar!
