South Jersey Open

Yesterday, the Cherry Hill East Cross Country team traveled to Delsea High School to participate in the South Jersey Open 5k race. The weather was considerably cool, with a slight breeze. The boys varsity team grabbed the 5th place spot in their division, with an average time of 17:10. Highlights include Joel Burt's 17th place medal with a time of 16:54. In the girls varsity race, Missy Showers medaled with a respectable time of 18:59. Overall, the girls team finished 4th out of their division. In the boys JV race, some highlights include Chris Dinh's medaling time of 18:15. Also, in the freshman girls race, Colleen Thompson snatched the 1st place spot, recieving a well-deserved trophy. Congratulations to everyone on their impressive races. Get ready for Camden County Conference!
