Today, part of the team competed in the Cherokee Novice Meet, held at Lenape (huh?). In the 1600m, Nate Burt finished first in his heat (2nd fastest), running a PR of 4:55. Chris Dinh and Mike Liachowitz also ran PR's in the 1600m. Next, in the 800m, Colin Kosinski ran a PR of 2:09, winning his heat (2nd fastest) in a runaway. Finally, in the 3200m, Kevin Lanni earned himself a medal.
Well, the season's just about over. For some of us, one race, the Haddonfield Distance Night, remains. Others will have the chance to run at tomorrow's Olympic Conference, as well as Sectionals and even States. Also, the team may be competing at the Eastern Regional Relay Classic on Monday.
Good luck to Dave Berger, Danny Fuentes, Max Cohler, Joel Burt, and Craig Fishbein, who will represent our distance team tomorrow at the Olympic Conference Championships at Pennsauken High School. Others are encouraged to come and watch the team compete.
Keep on running and make sure to get the best of your final race(s) this season!
