Girls Results
Today both teams traveled to Delsea HS for the SJ Group IV Sectional meet, the qualifier for the Group IV State Meet at Holmdel next Saturday. In order to be fully awake, most people woke up somewhere between 5:45 and 6:30AM. The boys race was the first of the day, with a 10 o'clock start. Overall, the race went out fast, however the boys team overcompensated, and ended up getting stuck behind a large group of runners. Overall, Mike Levin finished 6th to qualify for the state meet next week, while the team took 10th place overall. On the girls side, Theresa Cattuna finished 2nd overall, followed closely by Alaina Chodoff in 4th place. Overall, the girls won the meet, repeating as sectional champions for the second year in a row. Pictures will be up sometime in the near future. Good luck to everyone running next week. As always, keep on running.
PS. There will be a 2 mile time trial sometime in the next week or two, so everyone is encouraged to continue running until then.

when does winter track start? i heard something about the week after turkey day break...
i have put the pics from sectionals on a cd and will give them to either mike or brandon on monday.

Winter Track usually doesn't start 'til December. Apparently, I didn't realize how much it comes across through pictures how god damn tired I was during that race.
