South Jersey Open

Today the freshman, JV, and Varsity teams participated in the South Jersey Open at Delsea High School, sponsored by the South Jersey Track Coaches Association. Because I was at SATs in the morning, I don't have results from the freshman or JV races, although I know that Pete Tzeng medaled, along with a few other assorted members of girls JV team, and maybe a few freshman. When I get results I will update this post.

In the boys Varsity Division 3 race, Mike Levin finished in 3rd place. Moving up the entire race, Mike passed Andrew Sturner of Cherry Hill West with about 300meters to go in the race to take third place. The other members of the team struggled, however Danny Fuentes finished somewhere in the mid 30s with a time somewhere around 17:30. In the Girls Varsity Division 3 race, Theresa Cattuna led from the gun, finishing in first place with a time somewhere around 18:20. Alaina Chodoff finished soon after in second place, and the rest of the team followed suit. Overall, the girls won the meet. I will post more results when they become available. Otherwise you can just buy the paper tomorrow which should have at least partial results. As always, keep on running. -Mike Levin
