So I Was Driving Down the Road...

So I was driving home from practice, and I heard a great quote that explains where we are well. Think about it.
"We may lose, and we may win, but we will never be here again"
-The Eagles, Take It Easy

In other news, my associate Michael Gilbert Levin has not yet posted results of the freshman-sophomore meet, so feel free to pester him about it. If any of you have results I would be happy to post them.

It was a dark and brisk day this past monday, as East's Sophmores and Freshman took on GCC for the Annual SJTCA FROSH/SOPH MEET. Expectations were high, the temperature was low and an icy wind chilled our bones.

Starting the day off for East were freshman Matt Nemeroff (Nimiwitz) and Nate Mulberg who lead the way with a near identical finish. Both finished in the top 10 with sub 14:20 times on the 2.3 miles course.

In the sophmore race, David Berger returned to his old stomping ground on top with an impressive time on a tough C course of 17:21. He beat the 2nd place finished by a whopping 12 seconds! The other three sophmores following in his tracks were Craig Fishbein (8th place), Jon Arnold (32nd place), and Kevin "the man" Lanni (36th place) all won medals and ran well.

Congrats to everyone on a great race, as always keep on running.
