Lotso Hugandmeets

Hello, hello. I apologize for the delay of the spring track results but I have some time before my Judaic obligations tonight and I figured I'd give ya a little update.

I believe we left off with the Haddonfield scrimmage at the end of winter track. Well, first came a scrimmage against Collingswood ("I didn't even know they had a school." -Mike Minion). Jared Deshevsky won the 1600 with something like 5:02, with Adam Green close behind. Jack Fiedler kicked some a, and got a nosebleed as well. Kevin Walder also ran well. Unfortunately, the results of the 800 and 1600 are lost in the sands of time, and are never to be found.

Next came my favorite meet of all time, the Camden-Gloucester Relays. Unfortunately, someone decided it'd be a good idea not to enter the meet with unlimited junior varsity teams, and as a result, I did not get to break 60 as I would've liked. However, we did churn out some nice performances. Me, Tyler Eagle Russ, Zhongxia Zhao, and Frank Zhang got "2nd" in the 4x1600 (we so won that, I dunno what Clearview was playing at), and the jv team of (I think) Kitty, Fiedler, Adam Green, and Mike Minion took 1st.

In the DMR, the team of Damon Glatz, my boy Joe Pelligrino, Berger, and Steve Omari ran 11:31. The 4x800 jv team of Mike Oliver, Wang, Nold, and BENSON ANINGALAN destroyed the field, however their time is lost.

The next week, East faced Pennsauken. It was a pretty boring meet, although Mike Wang had a standout 4:45 win. I guess all that studying paid off. East annihilated Pennsauken that day.

The next Saturday, East attended the Moorestown Invitational for the first time ever, finally dropping Bridgeton Relays. Moorestown is cool because they have the Olympic events there instead of the usual 1600/3200. Ricky Zhao and Tyler Russ led us off with superb races in the 5 thousand metres. Ricky ran 1643. Ben Dillon ran a great race in the 1500, coming in 2nd in his heat with a 4:33. 27 second hundred, he's got a 5:00 mile. Classic.

The 4x800 was the most exciting part of the day, that I saw anyway. It kicked ass. Mike Oliver and Joe P ran 2:07s, Wang ran a 2:10, and then my homeboy Kitty made a massive, kickass kick to run 2:09. It was sweet, folks. Sweet as the cream pie for which the town is named.

Twp and Woodbury will be up later. Keep on runnin'
