This past Wednesday, several East runners went to compete at the Divisional Championships. Overall the results were not impressive. Zach Iannarelli was a bright spot in the day, finishing fourth in 16:47.
Today we went down to old Delsea High School (and Walter Sewad Field!) to compete in the SJ Open. The freshmen opened the day in the 3200 meter run (although apparently in 2007 it was only a 2k...). Ben Dillon led the team with a 9th place finish. The team finished 5th.
A half hour later, our JV team ran the full 5k. Adam Rosenthal had a good race, running 18:26. Chris Arnold had a huge race, finishing 3rd for the team in 18:33. Mikes Wang and Bruce were close behind. Adam Green and Mike Minion also had good races in 18:50 and 18:52.
The Varsity team raced at 3:00. Zach Iannarelli continued his nice season with a 10th place finish. Frank Zhang also had a nice race, finishing out the scoring 5 in 17:42. Overall the team was third, beating out Group rival Shawnee.
If you didn't have a good race, it's time start stepping up. There are (if you're lucky) 3 meets left in the season. It's time to start having good races.
MOC. Keep on running...
