Hey guys.
On Saturday, the East distance team competed at the Camden County Championships at GGC.
The varsity team won for the 3rd straight year in a row.
To begin the day, our freshman represented East very well and won the race, with many great performances. Aaron Zucker had a great race, as noted by coach in practice. Also having good races were John Kennedy (Warkala) and Nikhil Shukla. Unfortunatly, NJ runners did not post times for the freshman race, so if you want your time, you will have to talk to coach.
In the next race of the day, the JV team also won the race. In first place was Ricky Zhao with a time of 17:40. He can do Multi-variable Calc but he can't keep track of a medal. In second place was Russell Beatty, running 17:55. Also having good races, Andrew Berger and Tyler Russ took 3th and 4th place. Chris Arnold also had a good race, running 18:47. Arjun Nanavaty had a nice race, running sub 30 for a time of 27:54.
In the final race of the day, our varsity team competed, and kept the 2 year winning streak and made it 3. Leading the team was Zach Iannarelli, going out in an incredible sub 5:09 first mile. Close behind were Damon Glatz and Big money B0$$, Steve Omari, running 17:02 and 17:03 respectivily. Also having a good race, Slowpoke rodriguez (DJ Rodruguez) ran 17:16.
If you had a good race, reward yourself. If not, make sure you are focused for friday.
keep on running
