Yesterday, East traveled to Pennsauken to compete in the CamGlo Relays. To start off the day, the varsity squad placed 4th. Steve Omari led off the relay by running a 4:39, followed by Mike Liachowitz in 4:54, Andrew Berger in 5:02, and Josh Elkan in 5:03. In the first JV squad took 1st with Frank Zhang leading off with a 5:02 and Russell Beatty, Jack Fiedler, and DJ Rodriguez running splits of 5:12, 5:23, and 4:57 respectively. The second JV squad took 3rd place, with Chris Arnold, Jack Pinsky, Steve Diritis, and Corey Ansell running splits of 5:33, 6:03, 7:03, and 5:49 respectively.
In the DMR, Chris Dinh led off with a a 3:21 1200m, followed by Kevin Shu splitting 53 for 400m, Marcus Phillips in 2:16 for 800m, and Damon Glatz with a 4:43 for the 1600m. The team took 4th place in a time of 11:15. The JV squad took first place, with Josh Elkan splitting 3:38, Kevin B splitting 55, Joey Andalora in 2:14, and DJ Rodriguez in 4:59. In the 4x800m relay, splits of 2:09, 2:16, 2:23, and 2:19 were run by Chris Dinh, Michael Wang, Mike Bruce, and Damon Glatz respectively. The team ran 9:10 and took 4th place overall.
Our next meet will be this Tuesday versus Cherokee. As always, keep running.

Mike bruce actually ran a 224 but 223 is great too
