Yesterday, Thursday June 4th, Dave Berger competed in the New Jersey Meet of Champions. In what turned out to be a stacked 1600 Dave placed 13th overall and 1st in the slow heat with a time of 4:16.52. Also competing for East was Uchenna Njoku in the High Jump. Uch placed 8th overall earning a medal. Uchenna has plans on competeing at Nationals on June 18th and Dave plans on cometeing in the Haddonfeild High-school Elite Mile on June 11th.

Great job this season gentlemen. Having 13 guys under 5 minutes shows how far things have come in the last few years. The top few guys in each event were seniors so the younger guys can really use that as motivation this summer. Good luck on Thursday Dave.
