Over the past 3 days East has hosted 2 Scrimmage meets against Cherry Hill West on saturday and Haddon Twp. on Monday. In the 1600 Damon Glatz took off in the first lap and lead nearly all the way home but was caught in the final 200 meters. Damon Pr'ed by 14 seconds to run 4:49. Placing thrid in a time of 5 minutes flat was Josh Elkan with a 11 second Pr. In the 800 Steve Omari, the only runner from east, placed first leading from the gun. On the Monday the weather was quite different with heavy winds and much colder temperatures. In the 1600 again Damon Glatz made a very strong move heading into the final lap which put away every else and sealed up first place.
