Today, Saturday Novmeber 8th, the East Varsity boys team traveled to Delsea High school to compete in the South Group 4 Sectional race. For the first time since 2001 and 2nd time in over 20 years East placed 4th with a team average of 16:56 and is moving on to the Group 4 State meet at Holmdel next weekend! Leading the way for East was Dave Berger who place 6th with a time of 16:22. Next was Nate Burt and John Arnold with great racing finishing in 16th and 17th place. Than to close up the scoring was Chris Dinh and Scott Zhao in 45th and 47th place. Also having a great race and competeing in only his seconds Varsity race was sophomore Damon Glatz who finsihed in 64th with a time of 17:46. Great races by everyone and also congratulations to the girls team who, with a 5th place finish, are also moving on to states next weekend.
