Most of East Distance's class of 2008 alumni have just settled into their new college homes, scattered across the country. Jason Klein has already competed in his first intramural cross country race at Duke University and continues to train. He finished the race, regardless of stomach problems that had been bothering him throughout that week. Tim Dinh (Rutgers University) has been running on his own and will be preparing to run in his first marathon EVENTUALLY. In addition to Tim, Colin Kosinski also recently moved into his new home at Rutgers. He, with the occassional addition of Jeff Deppa ('07), will be practicing with the Rutgers running club. They both have also has survived their first week of classes. Max Cohler has finished his 3rd week of cross country practice, and 2nd week of classes at Muhlenberg College. He also ran his first 8k race at Lehigh University last Friday. Dan Fuentes, as you probably already know, still practices with East Distance, and leaves for Stanford later in September. Good luck to the other alumni as they continue their journey into college and ofcourse good luck to the Cherry Hill East XC team this season. Updates will be given later on in the year.
