On Thursday, the JV and freshmen teams competed in the Haddonfield Invitational at Pennypacker Park. The results were very impressive. In the JV race, Chris Dinh finished 22nd in 17:34, Kevin Lanni in 23rd in 17:35, Tim Dinh in 28th in 17:53, and Zach Walder in 29th in 17:56. Those four dropped under 18 minutes for the first time ever. Good job boys. Also, Nate Mulberg finished in 18:09, Jon Baeckstrom in 18:11, John Arnold in 18:15, Jason Klein in 18:34, Mike Liachowitz in 18:45, Jared Widman in 21:04, Vinoth Vasu in 21:19, and Eli Gabay in 21:50 (huge PR!).
In the Freshmen race, Tyler Caton won the race in 18:08. Scott Zhao followed in 2nd place in 18:13. Also medaling were Damon Glatz in 13th place in 19:16, Travis Boardman in 16th in 19:30, Jared Kauffman in 19th in 19:43, Josh Elkan in 25th in 19:56, and Shyam Bhardawaj in 35th in 20:48. Andrew Berger finished in 20:59 and Naveen Yarlagadda in 23:44.
This meet concludes the season for the JV and Freshmen. Good job guys, hope to see everybody out for track. Congratulations on a great season!
