On thursday, a few members of the distance team traveled to Buena Regional High School in order to participate in the SJ Open meet. Those who attended did nothing short of perform very well, while gaining some respect as well. In the 1600m race, Joel Burt took on the fastest heat, in an amazing PR of 4:36! Following Joel was Max Cohler, with a PR of 4:46. In the 3200m race, Dave Berger grabbed the 6th place spot, just missing a medal, with a fantastic time of 9:56! Let me remind everyone that Dave's amazing race puts him on East's "Living Legends" board. Also in the 3200m race, was none other then Dan Fuentes, who ran a great time of 10:09. Congrats to everyone on racing their hardest. Get ready for Lenape on Tuesday!
