Preseason Rankings

The preseason rankings of the top 20 teams in South Jersey came out today in The Courier Post. At this point, we are ranked 19th in South Jersey, with this qualification:

19. Cherry Hill East (3-3, NR): Coach Matt Cieslik enters the season with a group that put in some good work over the summer and is looking to fare well in the Olympic Conference and South Jersey Group 4. Back for the Cougars are last year's top five.

While this may not be overly exciting to many of you, it is a good place to begin the season, in a position to be competetive with the elite teams in South Jersey. Here is the link to the rest of the rankings.

The girls will start this season ranked 2nd in South Jersey:

2. Cherry Hill East (6-0, 3): Top runners Theresa Cattuna and Alana Chodoff have a year of cross country experience under their belts and will be the leaders of a team looking to contend in the Olympic Conference and Group 4.
