East Track lost another close battle today to Eastern High School. I am not sure of the exact score right now. In the 1600m, Mike Adler took second in 4:54, while Mike Levin, just returning from hiatus, won a hard battle for third at the line in a time of 4:56. In the 3200m, Mike Adler, Dave Berger, and Dan Fuentes swept Eastern with times of 10:48, 10:51, and 10:53 respectively. Also, in the girls 800m, Theresa Cattuna set a new PR and broke her own school record with a time of 2:18.5.

Someone asked about the 800, which we would not like to think about anymore. In the boys race, Eastern turned the race into a 400, by taking out the first 400 in a meager 72 seconds. Unfortunately, the boys were swept in this event.
