Footlocker

This coming weekend, the 6 most dedicated runners on the Cherry Hill East Cross Country Team will make the long, arduous journey to legendary Van Cortlandt Park, in New York City, for the yearly Footlocker Northeast Regional Championship. This race is the regional qualifier for the Footlocker Cross Country Championship, which takes place in San Diego, CA.
Van Cortlandt Park is the most famous and most frequently run cross country course on the East Coast, and is arguably the most famous course in the country. Racing against the toughest competition that the Northeast has to offer, Mike Levin, Dave Berger, Joel Burt, Brandon Cohen, Theresa Cattuna, and Alaina Chodoff, will represent the East Running Club. Hopefully they will represent themselves well, and maybe, in the years to come, one of them will qualify for the national chamionship. As always, keep on running, and remember, no matter how poorly you think you ran during cross country, track is right around the corner.
